ELECTION FOR THE OUR LADY OF LOURDES PARISH YOUTH MINISTRY OFFICIAL LOGO

The Parish Youth Ministry is an organization that is brought together by different people working together to serve and love Christ and the Church. The hands represent the work that each member gives to the ministry to support and continually raise the organization and in turn its members to spiritual growth and enlightenment by taking up and bearing their cross. The members are represented by the bright colors blending and working together to serve in a zealous, bright, energetic, alive and youthful manner and nature. The different elements coming together bring about unity, harmony, and wholeness in the organization.   

The circle represents the notion of wholeness, eternity, and the idea of perpetual movement. With Christ and Mary His mother, the prime examples of faithfulness, obedience, and total surrender to God's will as our focus and center of the ministry, the shared love and desire to serve Christ and the Church allows the members to work together with unity and harmony as they tirelessly move toward spiritual growth.   

The logo is comprised of different elements: the hands, forming a circle signifies the unity and harmony among the Parish Youth Ministry members as they ceaselessly work together to show the love and service that they have for God and the Church. Together with that, the Martyr's palm and the cross alike represents the sacrifices and the dedication to carry their cross as committed members of the ministry and servants of the Church.
